Engrain Promotes Miguel Galdós to Vice President, Latin America

Miquel GaldosEngrain, an enzyme technology development company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Miguel Galdós to Vice President, in charge of their Latin America operations. In his prior position as Sales Director, Galdós was instrumental in securing Engrain’s position in Latin America by establishing relationships with key regional milling and baking entities.

“Miguel’s contribution of talent and commitment has been integral to Engrain’s success since our inception,” says Vaughn Studer, Engrain’s CEO. “The Vice President position is well deserved and is representative of Miguel’s growing responsibility to manage all aspects of our Latin American business.”

The promotion of Galdós further secures that Latin American customers will be able to access resources to create long-term relationships with Engrain. A key focus of Galdós effort will continue to be helping customers utilize Engrain’s exceptional products and service to enhance flour quality, save money, and reduce downtime. “I am very pleased and honored with this promotion and particularly with the confidence that Engrain has placed upon me,” Galdós said.

Galdós’ extensive experience in the Latin American wheat and bread industry will enable Engrain to further support their customer base in that region. “We have consistently increased our commercial position in Latin America during the last five years,” Galdós stated. “We will continue to work with our team at Engrain to demonstrate that we consider ourselves partners of our customers.”

Prior to joining Engrain, Galdós worked as an Assistant to the Regional Vice President for U.S. Wheat Associates and as a Marketing Specialist in South America. Galdós has a degree in Agricultural Engineering with an emphasis in Agribusiness from Universidad Mayor in Santiago, Chile.
